Welcome

I received my Ph.D in July 2022 from the ECE Department at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Prof. Gauri Joshi. During my Ph.D I also closely collaborated with Dr. Bhavya Kailkhura from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, with whom I interned in the summer of 2018, and with Dr. Kevin Hsieh from Microsoft Research, with whom I interned in the summer of 2020. My Ph.D research was recognized with a Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship in 2019 and a Best Paper Award at ACM SIGMETRICS 2020, and also featured as a Research Highlight in the Communications of ACM 2022.

Prior to joining CMU, I spent a year (2016 - 17) working as an R&D Engineer at Sony Corporation, Japan where I developed machine learning and signal processing algorithms for multispectral image sensors, and also learned the Japanese language, explored the Japanese countryside, and enjoyed Japanese cuisine.

In another life, I spent 5 magical years (2011 - 16) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay where I obtained a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech in Communications and Signal Processing, along with a minor in Computer Science.
